Besides being a masters in psychology or a doctorate, she/he could also have completed M. Phil or Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP) enabling her or him to do behaviour assessments for their clients. She/he could also be a doctorate in psychology (Psy. D.). A psychotherapist could be any of these professionals trained in giving therapeutic interventions. You could go to either in reference to what you're seeking. If you're unclear, you could simply go to any psychologist and they can guide you.
